Overview

An outdoor living space like this will leave everyone envious. The only downfall to this Scarborough backyard is that you may never get your friends and family to leave. If you enjoy spending time outdoors, entertaining friends and family, and want to extend the usable space of your home, this is the type of project for you. This transformation features all aspects you could ever dream of.

Rather than remove the client’s amazing oak tree in the middle of the yard, we incorporated it into the final design. The beautiful warm tones of IPE decking compliment the brick of the house, and give it a one-of-a-kind look and feel to this overall project. The client wanted to enjoy their space even when it’s cold, so we built a covered gazebo with an IPE privacy wall and topped it off with a gas fireplace.

For dinner parties, we installed an outdoor kitchen that has a built-in gas barbecue and pizza oven. Other features include landscaping and outdoor lighting, a raised garden bed with a professional planting plan, and an engineered basement access with a stone retaining wall and steps.
