Our Process

At DPR Landscapes, we want to ensure a smooth and easy-going experience for every one of our clients. Here’s how we apply our expert knowledge of landscape construction, design, and project management to deliver stunning results.

  1. Initial Consultation

    Jordan will visit your home to discuss your project. We want to know what type of outdoor space you're looking for, and how you want to use it.

    Is it a small, intimate interlock patio to relax with a small group? Or is it a pool-side patio with an outdoor kitchen and bar needed to host parties? Any info about the style and colour of paver you like is also important.

  2. Site Measurements

    Next, Jordan will take measurements of your space and make notes that will be needed to make an accurate design for your project. We will make suggestions that fit your unique needs and ultimately give you the outdoor living space you've always dreamt of.

  3. Design

    After examining and measuring your property, we'll take your feedback and inspiration to the drawing board. A computer generated design will be presented to you with detailed labels and notes. Jordan will walk you through the design to make sure you understand what exactly is being done and why. Suggestions will be made based on your feedback as to which products we believe will suit your project best.

    We will provide samples so you can feel the textures and see the colours in person. You will be given the opportunity to make revisions on anything you may not like (size, shape, included features) regarding the overall design in order to make sure your vision of the space is brought to life.

  4. Quote Presentation

    As for the quote, every aspect of the project will be broken down by its cost. This way, you will know the price of each individual part of the project. If you choose to remove one part of the project, you can simply subtract that amount from the total cost.

    We believe being fully transparent with our pricing helps build trust between us and our clients.

  5. Contract Signing

    After agreeing on the design and products to be used, we ask that you sign a contract that stipulates everything that we’ve discussed to this point. This is to ensure that everyone is on the same page in regards to the project. It also ensures that the quote we gave you is in fact the amount that you will be paying. We pledge to never increase your price for a mistake or oversight on our end.

  6. On-Site Experience

    On the first day you will be introduced to the team. Derek will be on-site every day to ensure someone with intimate knowledge of your project is there to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

    We believe that communication is a very important part of keeping our clients comfortable with the construction process. Our team will always keep your property clean at the end of each day including sweeping the road of all construction debris before we leave.

  7. Completion

    At the end of the project, Derek will ensure that you are satisfied with everything before we finally depart. DPR Landscapes offers a 5 year warranty on workmanship-related issues.

    However, even after your warranty has lapsed Jordan and Derek want to know if there are any problems with their completed projects and ensure the problem is addressed in a way that is fair to both parties. We value our clients and see them as clients for life.
